A Case for Interstate Car Transport: Cross-Country Horror Stories

Surprisingly, some homeowners are reluctant to hire an interstate car transport service to ship their vehicles cross-country. They think, “I drive all the time. I can handle this on my own.” And while it is possible to drive your car on across the country, it's generally not pleasant. Check out our list of cross-country horror stories:

Rain, rain, go away. A family driving in Georgia decided to pull of the road at a weigh station due to some heavy rain. Unfortunately, the station had just had its scales removed, leaving nothing but open pits behind. The car wound up falling into a pit, and the passengers were knee-deep in water once they opened the doors to escape.

Trainspotting. A group of friends traveling through the Northeast was having trouble navigating the roads of a small town they'd never been to before. Somebody recommended they turn down a certain road, which the group found out a little too late was a combination roadway and train track—and the train was coming! The driver had to hop the car up on the sidewalk to avoid being hit.

Grin and bear it. A family stopping in Yellowstone woke up to the shocking site of a bear forcibly removing their station wagon's side-view mirror. And I thought they only liked picnic baskets!

With stories like these, it's no surprise that so many customers trust the professionals to handle their auto transport California needs, as well as services for other states.

Car transport companies are best to ship the vehicles from one place to another at reasonable rates.
